Project Description

In the hustle bustle of office or college life everyone in this growing Udaipur city is looking for a sneak out for a little time away from glass windows and air conditioned boxes to an informal setting of cool breeze and home like set up to have their favourite cup of tea or coffee with some brunch.

For creating such an ambience we managed to design a talking diaries with a stable structure out of Bamboo setting in a surrounding of local street food and tourist spot Sukhadia circle.

Talking Diaries seems to be a semi open L-Shaped design making connection with the outside through cross square pattern created with half cut Bamboo sticks at the sill level. With the former material the interior takes an unplanned green and wood pallet which perfectly blends with adjacent garden and compliments the diffused light and shadow pattern inside the place.

The lamps are designed and crafted by the local craftsmen of Udaipur and are totally in sync with the congenial atmosphere of the tapri.
