This minimalist lakeside farmhouse is a serene weekend retreat, thoughtfully designed to embrace the natural beauty of its surroundings. Positioned on the edge of a tranquil lake, the design focuses on openness, natural light, and a seamless connection with the environment.

At the core of the home lies an inside courtyard, a calming space that brings nature and light into the heart of the residence, reflecting a perfect balance between indoor comfort and outdoor beauty.

Key Design Features

1.Lakeside Orientation:

•The farmhouse is oriented to maximize the lake views, with large glazing creating unobstructed vistas.

•Opposite the lake, the home opens up to a lush landscape, offering a balance of serene water views and vibrant greenery.

2.Floating Terraces:

•Extend from every corner of the house, seamlessly blending indoor and outdoor spaces.

•Provide multiple vantage points to enjoy the surrounding beauty.

3.Courtyard-Centric Design:

•The central courtyard serves as the focal point of the home, inviting natural light and ventilation while providing a tranquil space for relaxation.

4.Material Palette Inspired by Heritage:

•Kota stone and Nimbahera multi-colored stone are used for flooring and feature elements, honoring the client’s heritage.

•Tiri masonry adds a tactile, timeless quality to the walls, blending tradition with modern aesthetics.

5.Modern Structural Elements:

•The farmhouse features metal C-sections, providing structural support and enhancing the minimalist design with clean, industrial lines.

•This contrast between organic stone textures and sleek metal details creates an elegant balance between heritage and modernity.

6.Sustainability and Contextual Design:

•Local materials and traditional construction techniques are combined with contemporary practices, ensuring sustainability and a deep connection to the regional context.
